Kindergarten Field Day

Opening ceremonies for Kindergarten Field Day. They all lined up and said the "Pledge of Allegiance".
Jordan is playing "Mosquito Tag" with her class. She is running from the mosquitos!
Uh-oh! Jordan got tagged by the mosquito, so now she's itching!! She has to wait for her other team mates to come relieve her with some lotion.
Now it's Jordan's turn to relieve her classmates!!! Aren't they cute?
Back in the classroom Jordan let me take a picture of her face painting. She chose a pretty flower, because that's exactly what she is!!!!!

This past Wednesday Jaron and I got to go to Jordan's school and help with their Kindergarten Field Day. In Texas we always called it Play Day! They had six stations set up; Jaron and I were in charge of station 6. At our station the kiddos had three different activities to complete before the whistle. First, they played a "wet sock" relay. One person from each team ran to a bucket full of water, grabbed a sock, swung it over their head like a lasso, ran to another bucket and squeezed out the excess water, and then ran back to line. It was, as it sounds, a little messy!! But it was great fun :) Jaron squealed every time he got splattered with water. It was a bit frustrating for him for a while! After that they played "Musical Chairs" only with hula hoops. Instead of kids being out if they didn't have a hula hoop, they had to share a hula hoop with each other. By the time the game was over, these classes of 22+ kids were sharing 3 hula hoops. They were so cute!!!! Then, the best activity was the limbo. Man, you should have seen these 5 and 6 year olds limboing!! They took it so seriously! And they wanted to limbo as low as humanly possible. It was so fun!!!!!

Here's a little video back in Jordan's classroom. It was almost time to go home, and Mrs. Skillman decided to give them some free time/snack time. Notice Mr. Jaron right in the big middle of it!! He likes being in Jordan's class :)

Jordan could not look more like you! It is a serious flashback to us 25 years ago. Unbelievable!

Hope you are doing well. Take care, friend!
