We just got out of church and they busted out with this song they had learned in their class. Aren't they cute?!!

Adventure Aquarium...Camden, New Jersey

This week we had a nice little surprise. In addition to Nana and Papa coming to visit, Chris had all of Monday off work, Tuesday evening off, and all day yesterday too. They were installing a new sound system at the theater. We dropped off Nana and Papa at the airport on Tuesday (more on their visit in a couple of days), and we had all day Wednesday to hang out with Daddy. So we decided to go to the Adventure Aquarium on the Camden Waterfront. In case any of you are bad with geography like I am, Camden is across the river from Philadelphia. Anyway, here are some great pictures of our trip to the aquarium!


This was the view from the front of the aquarium. That's part of the Philadelphia skyline in the background.


This is the Benjamin Franklin Bridge that runs between Camden and Philadelphia. It is beautiful! Jordan was funny about it, too. She said, "I thought it was supposed to be red."
This is some boat docked on the waterfront. It don't know what it is but it was cool!!!

Jaron could not wait to go touch the sharks. That was the first thing we did!!!!! I think this was a little tiger shark.



This manta ray was enormous! It is probably longer than Chris is tall. It was quite a sight!!!!

After a great time at the aquarium we decided to drive over to Philly and get an authentic Philly Cheese Steak. Here we are at Geno's Steaks. FYI, really cheese steaks only come with onions and cheese, no green peppers. I didn't know that!!!

I Don't Even Know What to Title This.............Part 2

Jaron continues to amaze us. He is somethin' else!! Sunday afternoon/evening we went to our friend's house--Tracey, Ewan, Bethan and Harriet--the family from England. They just bought a new house and it has a nice pool, so we spent the afternoon swimming. Well, as many of you know, kids have to go to the bathroom constantly when they go swimming...I am sure it has something to do with all of the water they swallow. Jaron decided he needed to potty so Harriet's mom, Tracey, said he could just go do it behind the bush so he didn't have to walk all the way inside. BAD IDEA! A little while later Jaron jumped out of the pool again, only that time he had to do #1 and #2. Not only did he do #1 and #2 in our friend's new yard, but he didn't go behind the bush!!!!!! Chris and I were absolutely mortified! I can't even explain the shock we experienced when we looked over and had to watch Jaron do his business on the grass. The only thing else I know to say is.....TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!

Girls Night

This summer I decided to start a "Girls Night" with me and Jordan. Since Chris's work schedule is a little unorthodox, we can't go out at night or anything because Chris is not home to take care of Jaron. But, that hasn't stopped us girls!!! Jordan LOVES "Ghost Whisperer". It comes on at 8 o'clock on Fridays, and we are usually outside at that time playing with the neighborhood kids. So I DVR it and I let Jordan stay up late and watch it with me. Last night we watched it, then the end of "Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels", then "Everybody Loves Raymond". It was so fun! I think she looks forward to it every week, because she wakes up on Friday mornings talking about "Girls Night". And you know what, I really look forward to it too. She has also been my Olympics buddy. She loves the Olympics, especially the gymnastics. Speaking of gymnastics, how about Nastia Liutin and Shawn Johnson winning gold and silver for the USA?! I was sooooooo pumped! I couldn't decide which one I wanted to win the gold. I like both of them so much. Did you see their interview with Bob Costas? They were so sweet!!! I teared up just listening to how much they were pulling for each other and commenting on how happy they were for one another. I think it should be the story of the Olympics. It was just great. What events have you been watching???

These are just a few of the head shots Chris had taken a couple of weeks ago. None of these have been "touched up" by the photographer yet, but I think they are great anyway!!! The room that this first picture was taken in had the most perfect view of the Empire State Building. Unfortunately, Miss Unprepared (that's me) didn't charge the battery on her camera...oops! So you will just have to believe me when I say it was a great view!! Enjoy these pictures of our Broadway star...which one do you like?

The Princeton Battlefield

This was an exciting and unexpected discovery. We were just driving down a road we haven't been down before. The best things in life are free, aren't they?
