So since we couldn't go to the Met (boo!), we decided to make the most of our situation and go to the Museum of Natural History.
We wanted to see Snakes and Lizards Alive and the Butterfly Conservatory.


Jaron was in heaven!
Jordan......not so much. She was still unhappy she had to get dressed up.













While we were waiting for our appointment to see the butterflies, we checked out the sea animals. This is a huge blue whale hanging from the ceiling.

The butterfly conservatory was incredible. We actually got to go inside! The butterflies were flying around all over the place. Some people we lucky enough to have a butterfly land on them.









On our way to find one more thing we wanted to see, we ran across the Native American display. Jordan had been studying them in class, so she was really excited.


And we couldn't leave without seeing Dum Dum....the Easter Island statue from "The Night at the Museum" movie.
