End-of-School Festivities and a Special Little Girl's Birthday!

A few weeks ago, we decided Jordan and our neighbor and friend, Christopher should get together and have a recital for all of us. Christopher is Emily's (Jaron's friend) oldest brother. He started playing the double bass at school this year, and Jordan is still playing the piano (reluctantly at times).

Our little musicians before the recital.

We hosted the recital at our apartment and surprisingly had more room for everyone than I expected!

Christopher's mom, Corrinna, made brownies with little treble clefs....so cute.

Post recital refreshments...the ladies are enjoying!

Jordan and Claire

Jordan and Emma

The rugrats....I mean Emily, Jaron and Gabriel.

Sarah and Jaron

Ameera and Jordan
The Bohannon and Storino Clans

Emily made a poster advertising the recital...at the top it says "Today 3PM". Then she drew a picture of Christopher and his bass and Jordan at the piano. The stars are for "Twinkle, Twinkle..." that they played together.

On to the end-of-the-year party, which was yesterday. They all had Tshirts that said Tribe 25...their classroom is #25 and they did a wonderful unit on Native Americans this year......hence the Tribe part.

FUN!!

And this morning Jordan woke up as an 8 year old....where has the time gone? She has grown up so much this year.

Everytime we browse the Pottery Barn kids, Jordan plays with this ice cream set that they have out. She absolutely loves it, so she had to have it for her birthday :)

Birthday waffle with her candle. I started this several years ago...I put a candle in whatever they are eating for breakfast, we sing, they blow and they love it!

What a pretty, grown-up, creative, smart, good reading, good writing, compassionate, cuddle loving, hug and kisses giving little angel!!!!!!! Happy Birthday, Jordan! You bring all of us such joy.......we love you tremendously!
